Description
Create your own intriguing play scripts! This presentation reveals a process to translate a piece of prose into a dramatic text that can then be acted on stage. This activity provides the opportunity to explore the differences in genre from a literary point of view. Students have hands-on experience with the functions of narration, dialogue, and action in storytelling. At the end of this instructional process, the product is a unique script, created by students, and ready for production. This project can be used collaboratively across the curriculum or could be used by English or Theatre classes.
