Description
A common assumption about gifted students is that they will be on the bleeding edge -- eagerly adopting new technologies and mastering them effortlessly, yet little is known about how gifted students use cell phones, computers, and other technologies, how they judge their own competence, and what attitudes they hold. This presentation draws on new data to show how gifted students are using technologies, and what role these tools play in their lives. The emerging trends lead to insights about promising mobile learning strategies, and an m-learning demo is presented.
