Description
As educators and parents, we generally think of computer games at best as a distraction for our children, and at worst as promoters of violence and negative stereotypes. Can computer games design be the right tool to develop gifts? In this session, teachers are exposed to developing computer games as a type III enrichment product that can be used to enhance the creativity of students. The state of the art in the area is discussed, as well as experiences implementing enriched curriculum for middle school students in a school for gifted learners.
