Description
The purpose of this presentation is to address the identification and placement process of mathematically and scientifically gifted students. Currently, most Korean institutions that educate gifted students change their identification and placement processes from achievement-oriented to observation-oriented. The presenters explain the background of the process and results of the change. Participants rethink the definition of giftedness and the process of identification and placement by comparing those of their own systems.
