Two groups of 8th grade gifted students were provided an opportunity to engage in a phenomenological exploration in order to enhance their learning. They explored their interests, values, problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and creativity consciousness. This presentation provides a group of strategies for working with middle school gifted students in order to develop their knowledge and skills in 8th grade as well as prepare them for high school.
