Description
Is giftedness best viewed as a categorical or a continuous variable? Are gifted students quantitatively or qualitatively different from other students? How are these views of giftedness different and what implications do the two different viewpoints have for researchers and practitioners in the field of gifted education? What are the consequences (or implications) of treating giftedness as a categorical rather than as a continuous variable? Our distinguished panel of scholars debates these and other issues during this thought-provoking session.
