Gifted boys and gifted girls face different problems in school, at home and elsewhere in life. What else do we know about gifted boys and gifted girls throughout the educational life? How does gender affect gifted children as they grow up? This session traces the development of our ideas about gifted boys and girls and also discusses the reality. Consider the implications of educational choices while examining social adjustment, emotional maturity, and healthy self-concepts of our nation’s brightest learners.
