Carole Hardy, BS, is the Assistant Director for Marketing for the Oregon Lottery and is responsible for product development, research, advertising and corporate programs including the Lottery’s problem gambling outreach programs. Carole has worked for the Oregon Lottery for over 21 years and pioneered the state’s problem gambling advertising efforts and retailer training programs. She has served as a board member for the Oregon Council on Problem Gambling for many years and is currently Chair of the Council. Carole is committed to the Lottery’s mission of balancing the state’s goal of maximizing revenues from the sale of Lottery products to support critical state programs while minimizing the harm from problem gambling. Carole lives in Milwaukie with her 14 year old son and keeps in touch via lots of texting with her 25 year old daughter and 22 year old son
Paul D. Potter is the current Program Manager for the State of Oregon’s Problem Gambling Services. Paul has 29 years experience in behavioral healthcare, as a therapist, supervisor, instructor, manager and administrator. Paul has been developing and supervising problem gambling services since 1990.
