Description
A flicker of an idea ignited at a recent NCPG conference has grown into a bright success in Washington State, in spite of challenging economic conditions. Lunch-time keynoters Linda Graves, Washington State’s Problem Gambling Program Manager, and Rhonda Stone, Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling’s Community Education Coordinator, will showcase the talents of dozens of teens (via original music and DVDs) as they share the evolution of Washington’s Youth Gambling Awareness and the Arts Program. They’ll explain how a little bit of funding can inspire arts-based youth programs—AND how to find the funding!
