Description
Every year, an increasing number of children from poverty enter our schools. When schools are not prepared to meet these children's needs, their risk of failing in both school and life skyrockets. Discover how and why culture and language make such an impact on teaching and learning. Judy will share insights into why children from middle-class homes tend to do better in school. Most importantly, you'll receive proven strategies to meet the needs of children from poverty in order to accelerate their learning and narrow the achievement gap.
