Presenter Guidelines
  • All presenters must agree to BICSI’s Terms & Conditions.
  • Submissions must receive a minimum score of 3.25 on a 5.0 scale during a blind review in order to be considered as a presenter at the Winter Conference.
  • Upon acceptance, information regarding important deadlines and requirements will be provided.
  • Upon acceptance, presenter(s) must return the signed letter of agreement no later than October 7, 2009. BICSI events are non-commercial. Under no circumstances may a presenter promote a product, service or anything else representing monetary self-interest. Failure to comply will impact future consideration. Any questions regarding this policy or specific presentation should be directed to the BICSI Education Advisory Council.
  • Presentation time ranges from 1 hour (general session or breakout session) to six (6) hours (pre-conference seminars). Presentation time includes time for questions and answers.
  • Presenters can generally expect an audience to be 25 to 1,000 people.
  • Presenters agree to abide by the terms of BICSI’s copyright release.
  • Presenters agree to allow BICSI to distribute handouts to pre-conference seminar attendees.
  • Presenters agree to allow BICSI to include the PowerPoint presentation on the conference CD-ROM (general session and breakout sessions only).
