DESCRIPTION
The annual luncheon event includes presentations from National Blood Foundation (NBF) scientific research grant recipients. The purpose of this event is to present cutting-edge research that is highly relevant to transfusion medicine, that has the potential to advance the field, and that is currently in progress and not available elsewhere. Presentations are in a structured format, including background, materials and methods, data and discussion of significance. The competition to be a grant recipient and presenter is overseen by the NBF Grants Review Committee.
