DESCRIPTION
Have you grown tired of solving problems after they have occurred? Do you struggle with making decisions as they relate to your processes? Do you wish there was some way to see into the future so that potential problems may be predicted and proactively mitigated, and you are certain to make the correct decision? This course introduces tools to facilitate figurative glimpses into the future so that problems are solved before they occur. Brief explanations of the established methods of flowcharting, Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Priority Matrices will be discussed and transfusion medicine-related case studies will illustrate their employment as they relate to our industry.
