DESCRIPTION
This program is designed to provide an understanding of the techniques and programs in use at blood banks to raise funds for a variety of purposes, from capital campaigns to covering or reducing operating costs. Speakers will cover the essentials and provide tips and techniques for initiating a fund-raising program. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about campaigns that have funded new bloodmobiles, boosted recruitment programs and provided funds for ongoing research projects.
