DESCRIPTION
The faculty will present current information on military blood program initiatives, along with blood research and development efforts. Speakers will provide updates on the ongoing military operations in the Middle East, Europe and the Pacific. In addition, there will be an update on new developments within the military’s blood computer system, the Defense Blood Standard System (DBSS). At the conclusion of the session, there will be individual breakout sessions for those interested in specific issues relating to the Armed Services Blood Program.
