DESCRIPTION
Unrelated HCT has steadily grown over the past 20 years. This session will provide a scientific update on what we have learned about donors and their recipients and how we apply this knowledge to donor and patient selection today. What are the donor related factors that impact patient outcome and how do they guide donor selection? How have the patient populations treated with transplantation changed over time and have we improved overall survival, and if so, how? What are the hot topics of research to continue to advance the state of the art of HSC as we move forward? Learn possible answers to these key unanswered questions in clinical transplantation that are the focus of current and planned research.
