DESCRIPTION
For several years you've heard about the advantages vs. disadvantages of blood group genotyping. Your center is now considering doing genotyping but needs help getting started. This program will present the pros and cons of current available technology including slide, bead-chip and fluidic microarrays. The speakers will discuss the "how to" of establishing a genotyping lab as well as the new AABB Standards for molecular testing. The lectures will be followed by a question- and- answer period.
