DESCRIPTION
This event will provide career guidance and networking opportunities for resident physicians, transfusion medicine fellows, junior faculty, and academically orientated technologists and nurses. The speakers for this session include many prominent leaders in transfusion medicine and a representative from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. There will be semi-formal presentations, Q & A, and open discussions. Then participants are welcome to join additonal networking events (non-AABB sponsored) afterwards, including walking around the French Quarter as a group, eating-out. It will be a great learning experience and a lot of fun!
