Special Patients, Special Donors, Special Products: This audio conference will include a discussion of issues that identify certain patient populations that may require the development of targeted donor recruitment programs. It will also include a discussion of the challenges of donor recruitment for specific populations and special products, such as for sickle cell patients (pediatric and adult), whole blood and for red cell exchange and some strategies designed to meet those challenges.
