This international program will provide an opportunity to learn about the differences in blood bank regulations around the world and the efforts being put forth by some countries and institutions in order to harmonize the regulations.
OBJECTIVES
- Discuss current efforts to harmonize blood bank regulations around the world
- Describe how some countries have been working together in order to have common regulations
- Explain why some regulations may not be applicable to all countries
