DESCRIPTION
Through formal presentations and a round table panel discussion, participants will learn about some of the latest tools and initiatives used successfully to recruit and retain blood donors and increase donor frequency. Programs such as Customer (Donor) Relationship Management and the use of electronic media including email will be discussed. What are we saying to our donors and what types of communications work best and why? Paricipants will also learn about the challenges and advantages encountered in recruiting and retaining blood donors, from the perspective of both a local and large-scale donor contact center. OBJECTIVES
- Describe the various advantages, benefits and challenges of recruiting and retaining blood donors as experienced by donor contact centers
- Explain how customer relationship management supports donor recruitment, retention and frequency
- Review successful donor recruitment strategies such as email and other forms of communication via electronic media
