DESCRIPTION
Using lectures and sample materials, this session will explore proven methods to address quality of life issues for mobile collection staff. Subtopics to be covered include: staff scheduling, “working rules” between collections and donor recruitment, hiring the right people and addressing training issues (both new-hire training and procedural updates). OBJECTIVES
- Describe scheduling models/tools used for mobile collection staff
- Identify how collections and donor recruitment can work together to improve quality of life for mobile collections staff
- Identify criteria for hiring the right staff for mobile collections
- Discuss training challenges for mobile staff and identify effective training plans
