DESCRIPTION
Speakers, including a representative from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), will discuss current Medicare reimbursement policies for blood products and transfusion therapies. They will discuss how reimbursement policies may affect the future availability of blood safety technologies and make suggestions for adapting reimbursement policies to promote blood safety advances.
