DESCRIPTION
Through lectures and sample audit presentations, the speakers will review the requirements for an audit policy, the process for developing an audit procedure, the creation of an audit schedule, the use of a template to develop and perform audits, the process of selecting audits for special purposes, how to display audit results, how to take action based on the findings and how to integrate the transfusion service audit process with a laboratory-wide quality program.
