DESCRIPTION
This event consists of multiple short presentations. The goal of the session is to provide unpublished new data and knowledge. Information presented will include original data from clinical and basic research and/or relevant unusual clinical cases. A short question and answer session will be held after each presentation.

OBJECTIVES

• Discuss the validation procedure and performance evaluation of various bacterial detection methods
• Describe the methods of bacteria detection in platelets
• Explain the application of pH testing for bacteria detection in platelets
