DESCRIPTION
The special interest group for small donor collection facilities will compare and contrast controversial issues in round table discussions. Four leading CEOs from small collection facilities will facilitate the group discussions. Common to every facility, such problems get buried under the lists of priorites, with little time for resolution. Let`s share with one another ways to overcome! OBJECTIVES
- Discuss successful actions of ethical training your facility provides to assure that issues such as corporate non-compliance, regulatory non-compliance and abuse of the organization's resources do not go unreported and to explain how you protect yourself, your staff and your facility
- State the future of small collection facilities, fixed and hospital based, in the midst of such challenges as mergers, higher costs, bioterrorism, identity theft, lower reimbursements, a shrinking pool of qualified staff and regulatory mandates
