DESCRIPTION
The speakers will discuss how DNA analysis and classical hemagglutination assays can be used in tandem to help patients. The information will be presented as lectures and illustrative case studies.

  • Explain the application of molecular techniques to serological investigations
  • Apply current DNA methodologies to help resolve difficult serological problems
  • Present case studies that highlight the synergy between genotype and phenotype
  • Apply molecular approaches to transfusion reactions and hemolytic disease of the newborn
