DESCRIPTION
Project management knowledge and tools are increasingly necessary for successful and efficient completion of technical and change projects. This session provides guidance in the major project management phases: planning, scheduling, implementing, coordinating, controlling quality and making mid-course adjustments. In addition, the speaker will explain how to form an appropriate team. OBJECTIVES
- Review basic concepts and principles of the project management cycle
- Describe what project leaders need to know about the steps, tools, techniques, adjustments, progress and problem reports and quality control when managing a project
- Develop skills for using specific tools, forms and methods
