This event consists of multiple short presentations. The goal of the session is to provide unpublished new data and knowledge. Information presented will include original data from clinical and basic research and/or relevant unusual clinical cases. A short question and answer session will be held after each presentation.

OBJECTIVES

• Describe and evaluate new platelet preparation procedures and storage systems
• Discuss ways to document platelet efficacy
• Determine how platelet-like fragments could be grown in cell culture
