Come learn, from the viewpoints of blood center and transfusion service assessors and employees, what you can do internally and externally to show that you are in compliance. Don't wait until the inspection is scheduled or the inspector shows up at your door. Always be prepared.

OBJECTIVES

• Describe an ongoing process from one inspection to another that will allow for updates in a quality system as standards change
• Explain how an organization can use the AABB Quality and Operation tools as part of their compliance process
• Discuss, from the viewpoint of an AABB assessor, what they would look for in your organization to ensure that you have been in compliance from one inspection to another
