DESCRIPTION
This program will provide an overview of the current Medicare policies affecting reimbursement for the blood products and services. Drawing from the latest edition of the AABB Reimbursement Guide for Blood Products and Services, the speakers will highlight important issues, including recent Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services policies relating to blood reimbursement and challenges facing providers of blood and blood components and hospitals providing transfusion therapies. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about their specific coding and reimbursement issues.
