DESCRIPTION
This workshop is designed to provide insights into effectively teaching and mentoring students or new employees from diverse ethnic, cultural, or international backgrounds. Topics include cross-cultural interaction dynamics, verbal and nonverbal communication, word definitions, cultural thinking styles and expectations, work ethic and time management. Multi-cultural mentoring, teaching tips and techniques will be presented. Case studies and other methods will be used for illustration.
