DESCRIPTION
This session is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and concerns related to hospital blood banks and transfusion services. The program will include several short presentations followed by a discussion period. Topics will include blood transportation and monitoring, benchmarking, and interfacing automated instruments. A review of the 2004 survey will also be presented followed by an open discussion of timely topics initiated from the audience.
