DESCRIPTION
This program will focus on retrospective hematopoietic cell transplant research conducted through the CIBMTR and NMDP. The speakers will present recent trends in hematopoietic cell transplantation and describe several studies focusing on recipient outcomes using reduced intensity conditioning regimens and different cell sources. Optimal timing for allogeneic transplants for myelodysplastic syndromes will be discussed. The program will also include an update on donor adverse reactions from HPC-M vs HPC-A based on NMDP experience.
