Just as economic capital is a measure of economic health, social capital a measure of the health of a community's social fabric. High social capital communities exhibit certain characteristics where citizens know how to work together, political activity is strong, neighborhood and community organizations thrive, and people trust one another. The talk will help participants understand innovative solutions to social problems through the creative implementation of business models that can enhance connectivity in the community.
