DESCRIPTION
Getting "Lean" is not about shedding pounds or eliminating personnel, but it is about applying a methodology that seeks to improve work flow, eliminate non-value-added activities, and deliver value to customers faster. This program will feature multiple presenters from different sized donor centers, who will share their LEAN journey with you in the form of case studies. They will take you on the path they chose and provide you with the results they obtained from their various projects in collections, recruitment, testing, inventory management, and component production. Their experiences will demonstrate how LEAN improves product and service quality, responsiveness to customer needs, and cost reduction.
