DESCRIPTION
Transfusion services are constantly challenged to perform validations and comparison testing. This presentation will address the scope required for validation with an emphasise on the necessary elements for successful validation. Comparison testing will be discussed using selected examples to illustrate the connection between the validation process and comparison testing. Participants will have an opportunity for questions at the end of the presentation.
