DESCRIPTION
This session focuses on blood cell components that can be collected in large quantities by apheresis, and on umbilical cord blood-derived stem cells. The emphasis is on describing rare and novel cell components such as hematopoietic and endothelial progenitor cells. New stem cell mobilization techniques will be presented. Apheresis-derived and/or ex vivo generated lymphocyte subsets including dendritic cells, will be discussed for (potential)clinical applications.
