Just because a study has been published in a scientific journal, even if it has been peer-reviewed, does not make the authors' conclusions or the data valid. This session will deal with the issue, how to evaluate the medical/scientific literature. This session will describe the process of what to look for in appraising a particular published study and how to decide if its data and conclusions are valid.
