DESCRIPTION
Effective cryopreservation methods maintain the structure and function of cells for extended periods at low temperatures. This session will provide a review of the current state of clinical cell cryopreservation with a focus on the scientific and technical challenges that still exist. The speakers will describe recent advances in the methods and instrumentation used to process, preserve, and store cells at low temperatures.
