DESCRIPTION
In order to accomplish the daunting task of validating a new or updated automated system in Blood Banking, a partnership with the facility's IT department is mandatory. In this session five blood banking professionals from different types of organizations will give the attendee some ways to collaborate with their IT personnel to effectively and thoroughly validate the automated systems used in Transfusion Medicine. There will be time left for questions and answers at the end of this session.
