DESCRIPTION
This session will review the results of the 2005 Nationwide Blood Collection and Utilization Survey (NBCUS) and compare the results to previous surveys conducted in 1997, 1999, and 2001. Current issues in blood collection, screening and transfusion will be discussed. There will be an opportunity for participants to provide feedback to the 2005 survey and to provide suggestions for future data collection efforts.
