DESCRIPTION
Chagas Disease is becoming an increasing health concern in the United States as immigrants from endemic countries now comprise significant segments of the US population. This audio conference will cover the epidemiology of Chagas Disease and the potential impact on the US blood supply. The speakers will discuss currently available T. cruzi antibody assays and the impact of implementing such tests for all blood and tissue donors.
