DESCRIPTION
Deviation management continues to be an area where we as blood banking professionals struggle. How do we describe the event so we have the right amount of detail to conduct our investigation? How do we perform a good root cause analysis? How do we determine appropriate immediate actions to take and what actions will prevent this from happening again? This audioconference will use lecture and case study presentations to provide guidance in all of these important areas of deviation management. The speaker will lead participants through several deviation management cases highlighting problem descriptions, root cause analysis, corrective actions and effectiveness checks.
