DESCRIPTION
This session will focus on validation and troubleshooting of cell cryopreservation. Didactic presentations will discuss critical control points of cryopreservation such as concentration of cells and components, pre-cooling, and freezing rate. These will be followed by interactive troubleshooting scenarios addressing common issues such as poor cell recovery or viability, abnormal freezing curves and freezer malfunctions.
