DESCRIPTION
As part of its ongoing effort to integrate quality management systems into the transfusion medicine and cellular therapies field, AABB is rolling out a unified quality template to serve as the basis for all AABB standards-setting. With a decade of experience in quality management systems, AABB and the Quality Management Subcommittee hope this next step in the standards development process will provide members with information they can use to continue improving their quality systems. This interactive program will provide background on the development of the new quality template and examples of objective evidence of compliance. Paricipants will be given the opportunity to ask questions on standards needing clarification and to provide input into areas where written guidance should be developed.
