DESCRIPTION
Transfusion service personnel who use automation for patient testing will present essential elements in selecting, validating and interfacing instruments used for serological testing in the transfusion service. The focus of this session will be on providing practical information related to automation in general. The speakers have varied experiences with instrumentation in the United States. While a speaker from Finland will provide an international perspective.
