DESCRIPTION
Processing and product characterization techniques used in the cord blood bank setting are becoming more automated and standardized. These advancements are intended to promote consistency among product inventories to facilitate donor selection, contribute to a better understanding of product characteristics on transplantation and ultimately improve patient safety and survival. This session will address four components of product manufacturing.
