DESCRIPTION
A perinatologist will discuss the management of a pregnant woman with an identified antibody and the recent advances in fetal treatment. The pathophysiology of HDFN will be reviewed and the selection of appriopriate blood products will be discussed. There will also be a review of bilirubin metabolism in the newborn and strategies to treat hyperbilirubinemia.
