Clinical and preclinical research is essential for reducing the complications of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and for improving long-term outcomes. For the past 9 years, the National Marrow Donor Program and the Marrow Foundation have supported young investigators who submitted superior research proposals in an annual competition. This NMDP-sponsored session features 6 recipients of the "grants" who will describe their award-winning research.
